@GillianDouglas2 @VodafoneUK @ThreeUK Whilst I understand there’s inflation to keep up with, surely the customer and the circumstances have to come into consideration. We’ve all been told to stay home. I have no income for now.

@ThreeUK its easy to figure out, UK fones dont default to 4G when 3G supersedes it. most areas dont have a great 4G signal. This alert requires 4G. I would comment on how thick folk are but its a waste of my time. Samsung fone have be autop connect 3g/4g/5g for years now

  • rab1dkorndogg andy marsh (@rab1dkorndogg) reported

@RW_OD @ThreeUK So a non emergency, emergency service. I doubt this would ever be used unless theres a war (like the old air raid sirens).. The testing failed terribly though.

  • shut_up_stewart Stewart McGill (@shut_up_stewart) reported

Whilst I get that the #emergencyalert was a trial designed to **** out problems, it's worrying that @ThreeUK got it so badly wrong. My trust in the company has gone down, but not much given that the signal is terrible anyway.

  • martinimcfli Kate ♿️ (@martinimcfli) reported

@JIX5A @ThreeUK The network needs to send your phone a signal with a notification to check for alerts. Three apparently set it too long, so only the phones actively checking for alerts got it. 90%+ didn’t, because when their phones ‘listened’, the test had ended.

  • madwedge Adam Watkinson (@madwedge) reported

@JIX5A @ThreeUK My wife who is on Three got the alert but I didn't. Don't make **** up.

  • yatesy60 Mark Yates (@yatesy60) reported

@ThreeUK This is actually a good enough reason to ditch this rubbish network. When our lives could actually depend on a simple alert and they cannot get that right. No confidence in it actually working in a emergency, so I will be switching networks when the contract is up.

  • HenryCThomas Henry Thomas (@HenryCThomas) reported

Sad not to have had an emergency alert, @OliverDowden says it could be the sound that saves my life… worried I’m on a list somewhere… @ThreeUK

  • SuhailAmed Suhail Ahmed (مشوانی) (@SuhailAmed) reported

I left @ThreeUK aftr 6 yrs wn a mngr suggested to leave, joined @Vodafone but honestly can't even browse or work, it is laterally like 1G, it used to be good but from last 3 weeks it is just annoying and ridiculous. Paying for service we are not receiving, 3 frnd and same with al

  • canutescanoe Harry (@canutescanoe) reported

@YorkibarKid @ThreeUK Well do Three then I should have known not to bother turning my notifications off, their ****** signal negated the need

  • beccytad Rebecca Mansell (@beccytad) reported

@ThreeUK None of our household got it. It is worrying. Will there be a repeat test for us to check it works in the event of a real emergency?
