Enable VoWiFi, and connect to a WiFi network. Wait a few minutes for your phone to authenticate over the Internet into your home company's core network.

Tech support in India reading a script, say issue known with Cell Tower cant say when it will be fixed. Already been THREE months. Although I know its not full coverage so you might just be in a dead spot, depending on where in the country you are.

All networks do this it's not new. Since you didn't have it in s phone the network didn't pick up a signal so it automatically thinks its inactive.
