It was a mess for AOL in the short term because their customers started complaining about busy signals because of the greatly increased popularity of accessing both AOL and the Internet through their service. As a teenager, I’d cycle between the different services to try them.

@ShushVirgil He is made a Minister before AOL/WW3, gets promoted to Health by Harriet Jones, demoted to Jr. Minister by Brown, when Saxon gets promoted after Defence (who is implied to be Des Browne and has to resign after Canary Wharf incident), ensuing reshuffle has him placed in Defence.

@MegaBrickz The Dreamcast wasn't particularly bad. For it's time it was quite good. The problem was it was trying to do things too soon. It's big focus was on internet connectivity at a time when all of us were still on shitty AOL freebies. And it lacked dev support.
