    One thing I can never stop thinking about is that in some developing countries, Facebook _is_ the internet. Facebook have made an AOL on steroids situation there and it’s a scandal

    @battlenet @Diablo So a plan was hatched to purchase a really long phone cable. We used an AOL login from a freeware CD and dialled-up to AOL with an Elsa 64 kbit/s modem. At night, we ran the phone cable out of the window of my dorm into the administrator's office and played through the nights.

    @killyourfm @Windows Right like the days of AOL, I'll never forget having parental controls on my AOL account and thinking...do these work in Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator? Funny enough - exactly the same scenario since AOL didn't control anything other than it's own browser.
