What I don’t understand is I live in rural England, my broad band with @BT was abysmal, slow , problematic and hard to get customer service whereas when we had AOL for years we had no problem / good service and now @SkyUK since 2015, great speed / no problems. Same place!

@Cokedupoptions in relative terms, AOL chat was light years better than Discord. Somehow we got punished because AOL didn’t adapt beyond dial up, and that’s a got damn shame

@Manwhometworld @Romudeth We should be forced to go back to message boards where you refresh the page to see replies and it was more closed-knit and not mass adopted. Wasnt as bad with aol/yahoo/msn messenger since you were more closely associated with the person. Mass social like twitter ect did us in.

@AOLSupportHelp I have yet to receive any help or helpful information on how to recover my account of over 22 years. Is there any progress being made on the online “reset password” process so that it actual works?

@jdhattin @VFXLegion As for the slow 1990s network connection - I used to transfer artwork for print runs via modem across the country. I would communicate with John Knoll, and Thad Beir on AOL forums back then as well. Not really production ready at that speed. It was stone knives and bearskins.

@AOLSupportHelp Yea, I have sent my information over and over and nobody has helped me. Asking for my information on my post isn’t assistance. It’s just yall trying to save face and continuing to do absolutely nothing @AOLSupportHelp! Could I get any support or help maybe?
