    What I don’t understand is I live in rural England, my broad band with @BT was abysmal, slow , problematic and hard to get customer service whereas when we had AOL for years we had no problem / good service and now @SkyUK since 2015, great speed / no problems. Same place!

    @hilzoy Brought up (bad) memories of trying to cancel AOL back in the day when ISPs began to compete. Easy to sign up on-line but had to cancel by phone. Sigh.

    @AOLSupportHelp I have been with aol for 21 years and now you have locked me out of my account which holds very important information. I have tried all the routes you have to get help and no one can help me!! Very unhappy customer!!

    @DeeNugLife Ice baby and some random numbers in irc chat rooms and icq after that back with dial up. On aol never stayed connected ling enough never came back online for 10 years too a 2 year beak again the periodically off and on foe the next 11 years to present day .

    @aol.com my elderly mother has lost her email password, therefore email not working, can't reset password because no email and you don't take phonecards, what to do now?? Crazy!!!

    @Chime Internet... Long, long ago (1989) we used BBS services or a CIX service like AOL, CompuServe and BIX at a mind boggling $3 an hour!!!

    @nodqdotcom And Once again TK is talking out of his rear end. If you do a simple thing called you know research,you'd know that WCW was dying WAY before Russo even got there. Did he help? No, but at that point WCW was already on death's bed. Hell the Time Warner/AOL deal killed them.
