@KwakuMMNT 112 by default. Jagged Edge were broadcasting to us using 2001 AOL dial up. Horrible signal.

@1womanworkforce If he’s working from the aol ap I would delete it and reload. We had a problem with aol a while ago. The old Ap wasn’t working. Change the password just in case on your web version.

@teleject @meyerweb It kinda does though... With MSN Explorer (yes that was a thing in 2001, competing with AOL) we enabled "toast notifications" and the name was because "the little thing popped like the toast on the screensavers." Real toast never does that. It sits there. It sometimes Burns.

@CrownUpGuy In mid 2006 my pal t-Rex folded ace Jack to my shove on the final table because I was friends with the wubanga. He hit me up on aol instant messenger to let me know. It catapulted my career, I had ace6, went on to get 2nd, never looked back. Don’t just these Brazilians too much

Our independence from AOL was so important to me that I negotiated an extremely odd provision in our purchase agreement that allowed me to disclose confidential information about AOL. It was their job never to give me that information. It was not my job to protect it in any way.

@RationalNerd @Moridin1024 Liked it all except the change to the AoL. Really think it made the theme like “men are arrogant” instead of “we need to work together to solve this problem we created.” Wish the imperative need to reseal the DO was there. But I’m willing to WAFO!

@brother_Buddha We aren’t told this explicitly (in show or books) but I would imagine that angreal or sa’angreal are commonplace in AoL, esp with Aes Sedai leadership and so my boring theory is that it’s just standard issue AoL Aes Sedai angreal.

@TReese381 Age of Legends opener was the worst part of the episode. What the hell is the Tamyrlin Seat? I have loved most of the episode 1-7 adaptations but the AoL scene was awful. Imagine how cool it would have been opening the show with the preface of the books. Unless saving for later?

5/8 I loved seeing the AoL but I felt all this was part of what fell victim to the rush and pacing ,,, without the books it’s not clear how the sealing went wrong, or that the AS symbol at the end is a seal, or why we should care about the broken cuendillar

@evan_van_ness The blockchain with a compiler version that isn't even v1.0 release and doesn't natively check for integer overflow errors? I'd wager ETH becomes the AOL of crypto in < 3 years. It will have value of course, as an archive for better tech.

Enjoyed the flashback to AOL and LTT. Loved the juxtaposition of the then scene and the 3000 later pic we saw earlier. Didn’t like the Latra foreshadowing the taint. That’s too convenient and makes LTT an idiot rather than he and his 100 willingly taking a bold unknown decision
