@version3point1 @cranium84 @driverbod125 2½ for me. I had Hotmail rather than AOL, never had MySpace and I'm saying half for owning an encyclopædia. Never owned one, but did use the library one.

If my phone made that awful, long, drawn out sound our computers used to make when we were connecting to AOL every time I opened my phone, I’d spend way less time on my phone. Let’s bring that back.

  • BookerSparticus Booker (@BookerSparticus) reported

If you think Twitter is tough or confusing you were never in an AOL Chat Room.

  • ToadSalad517 overtoaded (meowth stan arc) (@ToadSalad517) reported

@FellatiousCrumb @jonnysun This one was great, the found a rip-off version of the guy who invented AOL was controlled/partnered with a brain slug that cannibalized other slugs and threatened him to never leave his house. The alien good guy was astonished that chat rooms were newer than phones.

.@kirkgsworld I called AOL in 2000 it probably was, I was locked out and the operator was upset I could splice my phoneline, didn't even let me in. I was like "MF I pay YOU, the devil is the PW, WTF difference does it make I call you on the phone?" #WeMustWaterTheGarden that time

  • wanyinbot Jiang Cheng (@wanyinbot) reported

Jin Ling. Come help me guess Wei Wuxian's AOL password

  • RobDreher86 Rob Dreher (@RobDreher86) reported

Dear @PrimeVideo This buffering BS is inexcusable for a prime time football matchup in the year 2022. WE deserve better than this. @NFL Fix this before next week please! PS are you using AOL and dial up?

  • AubrinKobold Kobold +5, vorpal (@AubrinKobold) reported

@CirianGilhin Yeah I was in my mid-20s by the time LiveJournal happened. My late teens were the AOL haydays. Worst I ever did was make an *** of myself on a message board once.

  • chanimaniacs jc, j.d. (@chanimaniacs) reported

I guess as someone who is literally a child of the internet (shoutout AOL Kids chat rooms in '04), I'm just now learning how to be a real person offline. I know it's a bit late, but better than never. I just don't want to get sucked back in by people without real personalities.

  • the_real_rc_70 Roberto J. Canales S (@the_real_rc_70) reported

@aaronladd0 I’m so proud of myself. After my initial WTF moment, I was able to figure it out and set it up in a few minutes without having to call my son. Don’t forget that our generation had to figure out how to work the whole AOL dialup thing.

  • ToonGuy1234 Tales of Mr. Good Boi (@ToonGuy1234) reported

@ComicBook One word, Lol. Honestly i would usually be mad but at least Warner would finally have competent owners. **** AOL, AT&T and Discovery.
