    @mikeinspace Good thing HTTP has no arbitrary file-size limit and network devs didn't claim TCP/IP could not scale beyond some arbitrarily small throughput ceiling. BTC is more like if AOL had taken over the w3c.

    @ScootDubbs If any of my family members have something to say to me, they must state their email address. If it’s hotmail, aol, yahoo, or sbcglobal or some ****. I am not trusting anything they say. You cannot be spouting facts as if I don’t already know you have an aol email!

  • lowkeylima69 local lima (@lowkeylima69) reported

    @AlyssaBbitchh There’s also satanic/********** symbolism in AOL, Time Warner, and MSN. The fact that theirs “symbolism” doesn’t mean ****. Repeating this garbage conspiracy delegitimizes the issue of child trafficking. Stop w the foolishness.

    does anyone remember their internet friends growing up? like on prodigy or aol? lol. i want to meditate and try to remember the deep conversations that were so formative. it was like, dear diary 2.0 because you never wanted to meet them but you did want to learn from them.

    @BradleyWhitford “The AOL dial-up octave.” I’ll never listen to the song the same way.

    @MoonOverlord @ElrondNetwork Only thing Ethereum has going for it at this point is it was here first, but so was myspace,netscape and AOL.. 😬 its to slow and expensive to scale and trying to force 2.0 isn't going to help.. Elrond pushing 15k TPS Ethereum pushing 15... #ScreenshotIt

    @jonathanvswan @Stonekettle Who ******** still uses AOL?

  • JakeNDaBox Jake Donovan (@JakeNDaBox) reported

    @GodHamgod @JamelHerring Wasn't even so much that, their leadership (or lack thereof) was awful. I started at the company at the time of the Time/Warner Bros. merger and it was terrific. Went to crap when AOL entered the mix.

  • UncleBonsCabin Legendary Arabian (@UncleBonsCabin) reported

    @centernovel @steamtug7 No one cares about my fantast league, but 27 years into it, one of the owners (in the middle, agewise; he's 57 or so) has never changed his AOL email.

    @suterb42 @GerdDuerner @PulpLibrarian "Service" or "system," right. Delphi, GEnie, Compuserve, Prodigy, and . . . AOL. The Well, Echo, Mindvox.
