@version3point1 @cranium84 @driverbod125 2½ for me. I had Hotmail rather than AOL, never had MySpace and I'm saying half for owning an encyclopædia. Never owned one, but did use the library one.

@matiwinnetou I just enjoy how ETH maxis criticize #Cardano for doing too much research. Just think. If ETH had bothered to do more research the network would be faster, the fees lower, and they wouldn't be looking at a 5 gear upgrade. Good luck with that "network effect" AOL, I mean ETH

Jin Ling. Come help me guess Wei Wuxian's AOL password

  • eightywone Omarr (@eightywone) reported

Why was AOL’s sound effects so damn aggressive?!?

  • PulsarCardinal Pulsar 🐦 (@PulsarCardinal) reported

Why are they removing functionality? I just don't understand how they can screw up a messaging app so badly. The UI is god awful, and it's still missing the most basic functionality we had 25 years ago in AOL Instant Messenger. I don't get it.

@ritholtz The same **** AOL pulled years ago. How's AOL doing now? Treat customers with respect.

  • TheDozerDude Dozer Dude (@TheDozerDude) reported

@bkspearz Never heard of, I just started with AOL a hundred years ago and it’s so simple I never bothered changing it

  • AflaqAtallah Atallah Aflaq (عطا الله عفلق) (@AflaqAtallah) reported

I also went through Judge Ellis' decision in Noah v. AOL Time Warner, Inc., 261 F. Supp. 2d 532 (E.D. Va. 2003), in which he asserts that a social medium Interactive Computer Service (AOL) is not a public accommodation that provides a place of exhibition or of entertainment.

  • padraig2112 Patrick Cahalan (@padraig2112) reported

@AlecStapp AIM worked fine broken off from AOL. The thing you really want divested from FB is the identity management part. It should be separate from all the user-facing services.

@That___Dude__ True anecdote. Back in the days of Compuserve your name appeared as printed on your credit card. No problem. AOL buys Compuserve and suddenly Compuserve is swamped with every AOL Handle Troll on the planet. We got slammed. I have mixed feelings about real names.
