Tried to help someone move off AOL email — found out they no longer offer any type of forwarding and actively block Gmail from connecting directly via POP or IMAP. Talk about disgusting tactics.

@ReadMoreBible @Kay76213777 AMEN! As much as I've enjoyed watching it grow from my Fidonet BBS days to AOL, Compuserve, and the like to the monstrosity it is today - it has caused more damage to humanity than good. The total interconnectivity without borders was never meant to be.

@HeinoK1 @MattStultz @amtcastle One drilled a hole in my barn. Suspect it was for nesting, but there was an ant trail nearby. They knock on the trees to get the ants to come out, right? I covered the hole, got rid of the ants, & placed an AOL CD (shiny side out). It never returned 👍😎 Old CDs = Good deterrent
