@neoluddism @profmusgrave Me, a phone operator at 20, telling middle-aged people I worked with they needed to learn new skills because we’d all soon be replaced by computers. “Computers will never be able to have a conversation.” Me taking a 50% pay cut to go work at AOL and learn. “You’re crazy.”

@aaronddyer @Ask_Spectrum Move to LA area serviced by company other than @Ask_Spectrum, or every day you have will be filled with anger & frustration at not be able to call up a webpage or retweet something bc thieves at Spectrum charge you for high speed while giving you AOL dialup-style **** speed
