@glextabo @AOL I know! They are the worst. It’s not hard to understand why they are no longer a major player.

@RealChrisSays Gee...I guess my old CompuServe address doesn't work...and I gave up AOL. I'm down to a couple of Yahoo and Gmail addresses...the oldest is probably 20+ years old.

@charles_gaba I still have my original AOL account, never saw any reason to change. I had a boatload of CD’s I got rid of when I moved a few years ago. Sadly I did not know they had become collectibles until after I threw them away.

  • JanezGame 🌬 Jane جين (@JanezGame) reported

@ZivKeinan @AOL I hope @AOL doesn't support such things, and do something about their fascist employees..

@goddesszer0 Same. I lived on tips from 2002-08... but it never made the mid-2000s version of Google newsfeed (namely good 'ol #AOL). Ps, no hate to the first or second oldest professions... or any other for that matter, besides "rando billionaire mogul that buys social media for funsies" lol

  • Dough23John John Dough23 (@Dough23John) reported

Google as it sits now will look like AOL did in 2000...outdated, slow, and irrelevant. Google is not going to be the next AOL, BUT many of similar in other industries will not be so lucky.

  • mucifous Shutter falls, all in 3-D (@mucifous) reported

Probably the worst part about dealing with the death of my adoptive father (so far) has been trying to use the AOL email interface on his laptop.

  • 1OutSpokenToken Bobby Alexander (@1OutSpokenToken) reported

The last two weeks has got to be the worse two weeks of online service performance since AOL.
