@cox_tom I decided to cancel my AOL subscription as it didn't work on my Mac. Did it during my work lunch hour. I held my nerve as they passed me on to many different people begging me to stay and offering me the world. 1&1/2 hrs later I succeeded. I had applause from work colleagues!

@TechConnectify Lol oh god I can't even remember the name of them but I remember using a couple of those "free" dial up internet services that created pop up ads and were slow as hell. Would use those at night when my parents kicked me off the AOL account, lol.

@joy2037 Ok, what about IG? WhatsApp? Signal? Kik messenger? You still gotta MySpace? Put me in your top 8. PSN? Hotmail? AOL? Yahoo? What about a P.O. Box? Tumblr? There's just so much to ask for.

  • RitaJKing Rita J. King (@RitaJKing) reported

@ubiquity75 @CJAMcMahon I wrote about AOL for the cover of the Village Voice. Terms of Service: Sweaty Scenes from the Life of an AOL Censor. Unreal how little progress has been made.

@americocap @megan1mitchell Don't make fun of my AOL screen name. I know I am predictable, which is why "Penny" has NEVER been in my passwords.

  • Paulloe17 Paul Nicholson (@Paulloe17) reported

AOL have a sort of ''slider disc'' thing to vote if Piers Morgan comments on Royals were good or bad , sadly they only had the possibility of voting one way or the other - no selection for 'I don't give a toss'.

  • DestroWod Destro WOD (@DestroWod) reported

@AdamKoralik Never heard of it but we had those type of disc for AOL here.

  • brflux Brett (@brflux) reported

The yeet tax passed. New SIM cards for everyone. Super low prices for yeet data and bitcoin yachts. Slow AOL messenger response time loop out pin and USB A compatible mattress pad.
