@GSmokesweed1 that was said like 5 months ago no one will pay and it will die like aol and the advertisers will leave and he will have sunk 44 billion down that sink he brought there

  • papanoel_cool Andy Tharp (@papanoel_cool) reported

@PestiEsti @xenocryptsite The other example is a corp that has a decent amount of cash flow but extremely poor growth prospects like very late stage AOL.

  • andkg Andy G (@andkg) reported

@televisionaryZW @Popehat "Network effects" are important. Ultimately they didn't save AOL or MySpace, though.

  • oneweekgamer Professor James (@oneweekgamer) reported

@90sWWE I still remember bad photoshops of her on porn stars because we all wanted to believe it back then on AOL 3.0.

  • DomAudy D. Audy 🇨🇦👽🤖🎃 (@DomAudy) reported

@SteveWonderbelt @wotveteran RJ also confirmed the Horn spent the whole war at the museum, and that it never occurred to archeologists to blow a precious artefact from an earlier age just for the thrill. The whole idea is that the AOL was too rational in the way it saw myths and legends.

  • chiraqchris chriss. (@chiraqchris) reported

Never really realized until now but wow many of the prospects coming into my open houses are still actively using old emails: hotmail, aol, and msn. MSN! lol

  • paladine310 Paladine (@paladine310) reported

@CallofDuty Why is it your streamers get zero lag issues in their games and I get the constant lag even while being hardwired into my internet? My lobbies were nothing but South American players. There should be a minimum connection requirement and not AOL dialup.

  • MediaWarrior Gary T. Burnaska (@MediaWarrior) reported

@JoJoFromJerz This will go down in business history as one of the dumbest moves since the AOL/Time Warner merger.

  • Bex3Moons Bex3Moons (@Bex3Moons) reported

@ditzydruid Oh for sure. Came up on AOL and AIM, geocities, Live Journal, etc. And it really is like a whole different life. Maybe it's time to embrace my old and return to the blog (and forum maybe?) roots. Those are less overtly awful, I think. Still don't know tho. It's weird.

@be747 AOL chat rooms are the worst. No thanks. Those things are unreliable and full of terrors. Chatrooms are for professionals only. You're lucky if you get in touch with humans. The people there are amazing. Just say 'Hi' and they'll be happy to answer your questions.
