@TankieMcgee That was such a satisfying feeling when things were connecting and the lightning bolt made it through the three little boxes on the AOL interface. It meant I could look up stuff about THE X-FILES and get into trouble in chat rooms....

@JoofWasNotTaken @TheBlindKitsune @play_pso2 I have played a lot of MMOs, a loooooooot. Haven't seen this lag consistently (that doesnt just boot you off the servers or crash the servers) since playing runescape on AOL. They should have did a soft-launch and added features in one at a time until the issue showed up.

@MarkRein Epic games just like AOL and Att they start good with enthusiasm then they **** up. They sold half of the company to China lol instead of going public.

@DrunkenCrunker Met someone in an AOL chatroom in '99, ended up living with him almost 3 years. Never been in love like that before. Sadly, he was a narcissist with a volatile temper and I had to leave for my own well being. It was heaven for a couple years, then it wasn't.

@KimZetter People used to call AOL pretending to be locked out of MERLIN (customer PW reset system) and ask a worker at the toll-free number to pull a screenname's info. It worked too well. This was almost 20 years ago.

@OutswingCrypto everything will be built via 2nd , 3rd layer tech ontop of Bitcoin.. It is only logical... Just like we do not use AOL oe MNS network for ANYTHING anymore, we only use the internet.. (TCP/IP)..
