@Grummz Ultimate Online was the first MMORPG, with the emphasis on the first M (Massively). The actual first "MMO" which could support up to 60 players was Neverwinter Nights on AOL, at least the first *graphical* MMO. MUDs came before that but it was text based.

@PatrickHolzer @Hanjarolol @MattWalshBlog All websites are publishers. You gotta read Section 230 law. Lol Zeran v. AOL "Lawsuits seeking to hold a service liable for its exercise of a publisher's traditional editorial functions – such as deciding whether to publish, withdraw, postpone or alter content – are barred"

Everybody complaining that the Mastodon network's federation model is too complicated should stop using email. Email: username@domain Mastodon: username@domain We've been using federated servers for DECADES. That's why my Gmail can send messages to my Mom's AOL.

@TheSmiler023 @DeadpoolBurner0 @davemeltzerWON If AEW is the dying days of WCW then they're in good shape because WCW Nitro was drawing 3 million viewers in their "dying" days. People always seem to forget though... WCW really ended because AOL Time Warner didn't want wrestling on their network anymore.
