@version3point1 @cranium84 @driverbod125 2½ for me. I had Hotmail rather than AOL, never had MySpace and I'm saying half for owning an encyclopædia. Never owned one, but did use the library one.

  • Paul_crannee Paul (@Paul_crannee) reported from Hindley, England

@MattKloufetos @aolmail Mine as well... Had this problem a few weeks ago 😡

@TomFitton They are also listening in to your phone conversations, message boards, etc. The worst thing ever invented was the World Wide Web. The day we heard that screeching from AOL, it was all over!! YOU GOT MAIL!!

  • DaniPayson Andrea Marie (@DaniPayson) reported

@paulabagwell3 I have aol and didn’t have issues other than having to wait three weeks

  • EmpressD88 Grinchin '22 (@EmpressD88) reported

@KaranoirN Did you see the commercial? It's awful. It's giving AOL dialup cds.

  • rakeshlobster Rakesh Agrawal (@rakeshlobster) reported

Is TWX-AOL still the benchmark for worst merger ever?

  • RebornHoosier Colts Iron Man (@RebornHoosier) reported from Indianapolis, Indiana

Programmatic advertising...one of the worst things about the internet and I hate my former employer #AOL for being apart of its creation.

  • Vittletweeter Vittletweet (@Vittletweeter) reported

@PennyJBarr @AOLSupportHelp Ditto that. Think AOL has been sold too many times. Nobody knows how to fix anything. New owners probably just looking at advertising dollars and don't care about users.

  • STEM_Gal Carrie Richardson ♿🗳️ (@STEM_Gal) reported

@atrupar @KatiePhang Aaron, I watched you on @KatiePhang Congrats! 🦨 runs his AOL as he wants. I detailed ina community note what was wrong w a tweet - never again. Post is easy setup etc. List import etc is good w Mastodon but it gets in pwd reset loops for no reason. Back to Usenet ✅

  • AdamSAFC29 Adam (@AdamSAFC29) reported

@AG17__ Tony must’ve locked him somewhere in the AOL not seen the poor man in ages

  • SaintsForecast Ralph Malbrough (@SaintsForecast) reported

I actually don’t think Twitter is going anywhere any time soon. It’s gonna be like a party that winds down really slow. Things will happen, break, annoy us, and we will all slowly leave. That’s my guess. It’ll be boring and not at all dramatic. Like AOL or yahoo chat dying

  • Kabula_Queen Bridget (@Kabula_Queen) reported

Watching a movie where the person logs onto AOL online and you hear dial-up is so wild. I remember that ****, the discs coming in the mail, and pirating anime episodes that took forever to download. 1 episode would take around 30 hours.
