@version3point1 @cranium84 @driverbod125 2½ for me. I had Hotmail rather than AOL, never had MySpace and I'm saying half for owning an encyclopædia. Never owned one, but did use the library one.

@jmoserr I'm old enough to remember manually searching Usenet and AOL discussion groups to see what people were saying about products and issues in our space. This was 1998-2000 timeframe.

@cypoints Was married for 18 years to a woman that randomly messaged me on AOL back in 1997. My 2 daughters would disagree with your Tweet as well since they wouldn’t be here without that random message. Since 2018, I fell in love with a woman that also messaged me on a website. Bad take.

I have been online since the WELL-Stewart Brand's thing? Then I was on AOL in 1996. The **** just doesn't stop. Now Google and Firefox---I love FF. My preferred search engine.

@captbaritone @lafp The official modern style skins were done under a zlib/bsd style license so the classic base skin can probably be viewed in the same manner (it wasn't formally defined under AOL aka everything up to 5.666) as it was the mostly there template to help make other classic skins from.

@likehellahella I want Jeeves and AOL, but we can leave the dial-up back there... I already have internet problems working from home now LMAO! Imagine somebody accidentally picking up the phone while I'm working. I'd be fired so fast.
