@zencoffeebreak Maybe it's time to replace that question with "Used a land line". But old rotary phones still work if you have a land line. I had one on my FAX line until I finally got rid of that line last year. I've never been on MySpace or AOL.

@Maridblair 1 point. I never had an AOL address, because I had a .edu email from 1993 on. Maybe 1 1/2, because the boomboxes from which I heard music didn’t belong to me—but were inescapable in NYC.

@RTodKelly MySpace and AOL got me. I still carry an atlas in my car. I’ve never used a phone for navigation. If I have to go to a courthouse in a rural community, I just find the main drag and figure I’ll eventually happen upon it.

@TallulahMShark @Nemesisgoldhair I had a jillion free trials, I never paid a cent for AOL (but I was an adult when AOL hit), and it was really the only free option for email in the early 90s, most cost $10/mo or more
