@desertrose1969 One here also. I think AOL email is a tad exclusive... It's not like they were the only service. Maybe change that to 'used Netscape internet browser'

@scottzoback Beyond that, they were terrible at defining the VP. It took a while for AOL to be anything other than for nerds (techtopia), then sort of teens (because it wasn't where parents were). But those were spaces, not goods. Also, we can download data. But using/porting it elsewhere?

Oh **** no, I take that back. Baby’s FIRST spite was in 8th grade when the school said we couldn’t wear Billabong shirts bc they had the word “bong” so I made an email list on AOL and organized a Billabong Shirt Appreciation Day

@TOTNEZ @desertrose1969 I've never had a "Boombox" or had an AOL email account. Does that make me weird? (or at best a Country Bumpkin?)🥴

@VetisxArt I can't help but remember back when I was in my early teens in the day of AOL Chatrooms/AIM. I clearly advertised my age and would "cyber" from time to time. Looking back I cringe thinking of who I might've been sending pics to. At least the pics back then were 9 pixels lol.
