Dear @PrimeVideo This buffering BS is inexcusable for a prime time football matchup in the year 2022. WE deserve better than this. @NFL Fix this before next week please! PS are you using AOL and dial up?

  • TheTimeProphet1 The Time Prophet (@TheTimeProphet1) reported

@BrightestDayACX I never joined an AOL chatroom. I do remember BBS and IRC though. Although IRC is still going strong now.

  • ajthebrand A.J. (@ajthebrand) reported

Want to see the power of a brand? 1.5 million people are still paying a monthly subscription for AOL. Instead of dial-up access, they get technical support and identity theft software. Your company may change, but if people trust your brand, they’ll keep paying.

But in 1993 AOL offered Usenet access to its userbase, leading to an influx of thousands of new users, a never ending flow of people who didn't understand its subtleties. From 93 it was always September on Usenet & for many users it was the end of a once great thing

  • havivrettiggur Haviv Rettig Gur (@havivrettiggur) reported

@AdamB1438 AOL its early days tried to impose a porn filter on its forums. In one fell swoop it decimated the major online breast cancer support groups of the day. IMHO, that’s not a sign of a reasonable policy, but of idiocy and fear pushing a company to harmful extremes of incompetence.

@FreedomMobile I'm a very easy customer. Very. Freedom is hands down the worst business of any type I've used in decades, since AOL. Every month you shut my phone off. Every. SIngle. Month. Your system is broken. Your customer service is an offensive joke. What an embarrassing organization.

  • BookerSparticus Booker (@BookerSparticus) reported

If you think Twitter is tough or confusing you were never in an AOL Chat Room.

  • 2PGlyrics two-player game bot (@2PGlyrics) reported

sign on to aol and think of funny things to say she'll always lol, never pretends like she's away

  • preiter20 Paul Reiter (@preiter20) reported

@ashleyroybal I blame AOL and all of their CDs that allowed morons on to the internet (eventually). Internet was better before the barrier to entry dropped through the floor. Now every idiot with a phone has a platform.
