"Share your support" we used to say at AOL and people did and lots was valuable, but a deep streak of 'alternative truth' bedded down there too to solicit attention.

Never understood AOL time Warner, even wrote a paper on it for my MBA and got the lowest mark out of all my papers.

The line I keep coming back to: clinging to "AI hallucinates" in 2026 is like refusing to use email in 2005 because AOL was slow. The tech moved. The question isn't whether AI works. It's whether you're willing to work with it. 70% of enterprises are already in. The gap isn't narrowing. It's widening. Six weeks of real commitment changes everything.

AOL sent discs to everyone’s home & businesses. I learned how to type on a typewriter & computer. My high school boyfriend’s family had internet in 94. Since 97 I’ve had access to the internet 24/7 starting with Sony’s webtv (non-dialup) then AOL in the 90’s. In 2000 I’ve had a modem (router) & never used anything else. Everyone’s environment back then was different based on economic circumstances & some people didn’t understand the “interwebs” lol.
