Its gonna be weird if twitter goes down in like 5-10 years and a new social media platform catches fire. We're gonna be over there like "Damn twitter used to be crazy!" The way old heads talk about **** like Myspace and AOL chats

@btcgenie @CMAlferez @MrktMeditations I legit remember hearing the same rhetoric about AOL, Yahoo, Ask Jeeves, Netscape, Etc…like I said..it paved the way but it’s not the answer. Bitcoin will never I repeat never be used at scale for global financial remittances, RTGS..etc. Screenshot me I don’t care.

@breezeline - no offense, but your conversion in Ohio is right up there with New Coke and Time Warner buying out AOL as a business debacle. While your lines are ******* with people who can't log into their accounts, people like me who have storm damage can't get through 1/2

@wolfejosh Josh in second half of 2020 you were saying a landmark acquisition would be a potential signal for market top (a la AOL) Twitter might not fit the bill exactly, but it certainly feels close.

Columbine was what, 25 years ago? Before 9/11. AOL dial-up was still the thing. How many school shootings since then? Mass murders since then? And the burden of proof is still on the folks who want guns regulated. What a ******* joke, America. **** you.

@AOLSupportHelp Why are there no longer any AOL spam settings? My spam folder in the last few weeks has quadrupled in daily junk. I've has AOL for 30 years and never seen it so.

@SquawkCNBC @RayDalio I deeply respect @RayDalio and can see why he hesitates and says “a bitcoin type of thing” instead of just saying bitcoin. The truth is the solution is blockchain technology. Probably BTC but like netscape and AOL, could be something else.

@ryan_eyo one mentally ill person to think about doing stuff like this much less doing it, The scary part is it feels like crazy being spread by the media giving maniacs like this the idea. We had AOL IM as kids, now every horrible thing is not only happening but they show everyone.
