@AOLSupportHelp Hey, are you guys experiencing issues with the Mail servers being down? I just removed my entire AOL mailbox from my iPhone to re add it thinking it was my phone but I’m seeing a lot of people saying they don’t have email too.

@catturd2 This guy was hacked by a 15 year old. On his AOL account. He is the worst of the US government and pretends to have credentials other than ones that were given, not earned.

Companies that find product-market fit at scale are hard to "kill" even by poor mgmt = it's like sailing in high winds = it takes a lot to NOT make forward progress = one gets multiple shots on goal to make it right = best e.g. over the yrs MSFT, YHOO, AOL, INTC but many others.

@HugoThePinkCat There were a lot less stupid people on the Internet in the 90s, till AOL showed up and ruined everything. And there were a lot more computer stores in the 90s. I miss shopping for computer parts in-person. Just go in and find something.

  • TheCarpatheonLM LamontMann (@TheCarpatheonLM) reported

@a_duckett 610 basically structure themselves as aol, that community internet where you don’t have to go outside of the, to get radio. They are one of the few stations that still say up and down the dial with saying the other station’s name as if we so stupid we don’t know other’s exist

  • jasonvholmes jasonvholmes.eth (@jasonvholmes) reported

Right now the NFT space is still stuck in the AOL phase. Always putting out new CDs with updates on it. Thinking back, it was horrible and unsafe. Putting random CDs because you assumed this was a legit AOL CD but luckily it was. The true raw dog days of the internet. #NFT #NFTs

  • BTCforGermans CaptainSkywalker (@BTCforGermans) reported

@hallam @Tr0llyTr0llFace So you wana tell me that crypto didn't solve the byzantine generals problem? Can you show me some proof why consensus algorithms don't work? Great Master of web security since AOL days. I'm open to discussing this.
