One thing I can never stop thinking about is that in some developing countries, Facebook _is_ the internet. Facebook have made an AOL on steroids situation there and it’s a scandal

@cyberat2600 @ScottApogee @Apogee_Ent Yep. I was working at Earthlink in June 1994. It was (and still is) an internet service provider. Back then it was ELN, CompuServe, Prodigy and QLink (QuantumLink) that later became AOL.

@JanetBoyer Where the hell do you live? I am in Los Angeles. And mine are KIDS, not adults. So they grow out of aol their clothes and shoes CONSTANTLY. I cook ALL of their meals (apart from 2 treats a week and it STILL costs more than I can afford with no child support. You are awful

@01Btsxarmy Anyone else having trouble with proton mail? I made an acc and mnet is saying it’s invalid? It’s seems to only have an issue with protonmail & no other, like aol, yahoo..etc are all working fine 🤨

@joeb_EY @teacher_eyfs ******! Back in the day of paper journals, one per child, split into AOL and 3 lots of evidence per scale point would never total that amount, even if I was meant to!

@Xfinity is probably the worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. I would suggest going to any other provider than them. AOL dialup was better than this.

@KiraHeartX People are people everywhere. From AOL chat rooms, to message boards, to social networking, it's always a roll of the dice. I'm sorry you've had your share of garbage folks though, but I will say there do be some real ones on here too, as I've learned. There's always hope 💙✊🏽

@elonmusk And the rest of the internet sucks, it's all corporate controlled AKA partially by infra guard.(look it up) The original internet was the real internet. Geocities, AOL homepages, Lycos clubs, web ring, search engines that actually indexed etc....true freedom of it's use. Imho
