    It’s hard not to picture a gated community having fiber optic internet installed and then sending a dump truck full of AOL free trial discs to a poor Black community and then saying they “fixed the digital divide”.

    @morgan_murphy I'm both happy and sad I never got to use any of those apps. Meeting people from AOL chatrooms and early days MySpace/FB was stressful enough!
