  • tenchylad StuT (@tenchylad) reported from Sunderland, England

Awful and that isn't a criticism of the kids , but more of the structure that currently exists. Not the infrastructure, as the AOL speaks for itself, but the coaching and recruitment model in places , needs a total root-and-branch reform of the way the Academy is managed. #SAFC

A friend had AOL and invited me to try it out. I logged on and found a chat room called The Stupid Room. I went in to The Stupid Room and it was just people making purposely stupid remarks and other people yelling at them for it. My first pregnant glimpse of the new Millennium.

@shahedC @kvlly Every family holiday since I was 10 I was always sent off to fix a printer or something. Not that there was anyone else my age in the family, so I just connected to AOL “to update the drivers” and surfed until dinner was ready.
