Victor Meldrew moment! Ordered a new oven from @AOL for delivery today. Given a 7.00am until 7.00pm delivery slot. Rang now will not be delivered until next Sunday. Not informed of anything. Asked the service department about what they can do to correct it! Nothing. Cancelled.

@BluebellFlora1 @Crosimmer I suspect a lot of those are people who use mods, which is fine, but when reporting their issue they said they don’t use mods. I work in IT and the amount of people who lie about their setup is amazing. “I don’t use any unapproved apps” *has AOL installed on their pc*. Same thing

@duty2warn It hasn't truly been CNN since AOL took over twenty years ago. It's been a long slow decline ever since and they just now jumped off the cliff.

@Cerulean_Rex I altered my parents' computer with a microcassette recorder. They heard **** like "You're Using AOL...Shame On You!" when email dropped "READ IT NAO!" Every time they got an IM it was me making fart noises. ...because I was 19 and that **** was hysterical

@ChrisBlock2 @neal_katyal That’s not what happened. Not even close. Powell used AOL. Rice used gmail. They did this because nobody wanted to carry 2 phones. All of them took care to make sure classified stuff was not present. They found 3 got through. But she never SENT them. She received them by mistake.
