@sigmasports I’m doing my best guys, bear with me. I’m doing an online chat with AOL online support and have Ask Jeeves fired up in another browser.

  • Mark_BeerArt Mark Newman (@Mark_BeerArt) reported from Epsom and Ewell District, England

@liampowersjr @NorthmanTrader @Tesla Fully agree by the way, Tesla is strange, but I think some of this isn't just cars but their battery technology....never understood it myself. Never understood AOL time Warner, even wrote a paper on it for my MBA and got the lowest mark out of all my papers.

@LegionHoops These 2 bozos are moron Comparing AOL with modern internet. AOL is an Internet Service Provider like Sprint etc. It still exists. I wouldn't have been lost in the discussion of these morons if they're comparing dialup internet over broadband

  • DruryNikolas Nikolas Drury (@DruryNikolas) reported

@Malbanese1922 @BrandonThurston Biggest difference with WCW is that Turner owned the company and they were hemorrhaging money. Good ratings or not, the company was no longer profitable. AOL Time Warner execs also apparently hated wrestling and wanted it off their network. AEW can go somewhere else if cancelled.

  • SwitchSpeedster Memetendo (@SwitchSpeedster) reported

@Animated_Antic Beating AOL and Time Warner as the worst merge in WB's history

  • DavidClinchNews David Clinch (@DavidClinchNews) reported

@BenMullin @jtoonkel @eshap I used to work for a company called CNN, which was very profitable. That company was merged within Warner, AOL, ATT and now Discovery. Is it any more, or less, profitable than it would have been if it had never been merged/swallowed? I’d love to see an analysis.

  • ChillwithRon Ron (@ChillwithRon) reported

@ccmarce_writes true. maybe it's just me, but I find my experience on social media blah. My AOL chatroom days were a lot more, fun, engaging, network and community oriented. it wasn't forced or you had to sign up with an "expert" to learn abt community building. it was fluid and real. fun times

  • JordanCarrP Jordan Carr Peterson (@JordanCarrP) reported

Recently learned after overhearing him on the phone w/ AOL TECH SUPPORT that my dad still pays $8.99 MONTHLY for an AOL email address despite me registering him for Gmail ~15 years ago...less frustrated, more concerned w/ what obsolete technologies I'll be clinging to in 35 years

  • tts_meda_man your local tweet dealer (@tts_meda_man) reported

@lamisscherrie damn a lot of companies have thrown WB in the shitter AOL, AT&T, Discovery

  • WilliamRBR Will Washington  (@WilliamRBR) reported

@TheRajGiri The primary difference, which is in AEW's favor, is that WBD doesn't own or produce any of the content AEW airs on the network. It's a licensing deal. The AOL-Time Warner merger saw WCW get axed because they were on the hook for all things WCW, including the talent contracts.

  • RiverCityDragon Kane (@RiverCityDragon) reported

Warner Bros mergers are usually terrible I find. AOL in 2001 and Discovery now. WB/AOL lost 206 Billion in Stocks and Discovery is bring ****** and cheap with cuts and bad ideas
