@Tudorscribe @ElizabethAngell @HuffPost When HuffPost was sold to AOL, I asked for my posts there to be withdrawn. I was worried about the perpetual use of my work in entities I had not signed up for and I was right. Never regretted the decision.

@redsteeze It's so strange to me, because I don't care what anyone eats about me online. It's not real life. These aren't people I know or will ever meet. Maybe it's my generation (the AOL & MySpace generation,) but why does everyone faint at any bad thing written online about them?

@AOL big issues with spam filters. the worse they've ever been for letting fraudulent e mails thru several times a day , I've reported but no reply Find another e mail server

Thinker (@southrnwolf01) reported
@pikachuevie @TheDylanDybdal @realDailyWire The court rejected these arguments because holding AOL negligent would be equivalent to holding AOL "liable for decisions relating to the monitoring, screening, and deletion of content from its network -- actions quintessentially related to a publisher's role."

@HuffpostCAUnion Buzzfeed? Why? Can’t they just churn out more stupid AOL-era quizzes and “articles” that are just lists of loosely-disguised Amazon affiliate links?

The Secret Liberal (@TheSecretLiber1) reported
@jonhopswan @Baddiel None of that bears comparison with the burning rage that I used to feel whenever the old AOL ads with “Connie” were on TV. Was in tech support at the time - a customer saying “I’m on AOL” was the equivalent of someone wanting to pay £1,000 into their bank entirely in pennies.

@Joshua_Kuma @_maxvalley_ @besf0rt I see you also don't know the difference between spelling errors & technical glitches. Not surprising from some1that gets their "news" from aol & qtard boards.

@J_Dub23_1 It's a Verizon email but AOL basically bought out their email service so it's the same thing now.
