  • thejohnjansen John Jansen (@thejohnjansen) reported from Camden Town, England

@teleject @meyerweb It kinda does though... With MSN Explorer (yes that was a thing in 2001, competing with AOL) we enabled "toast notifications" and the name was because "the little thing popped like the toast on the screensavers." Real toast never does that. It sits there. It sometimes Burns.

  • sarahpilates Sarah Pilates (@sarahpilates) reported from Camden Town, England

@1womanworkforce If he’s working from the aol ap I would delete it and reload. We had a problem with aol a while ago. The old Ap wasn’t working. Change the password just in case on your web version.

  • ahwpgapro Alan Walker (@ahwpgapro) reported from Loughton, England

@aolmail I’ve been attempting to retrieve my wife’s AOL password for the past 10 or more emails with your supposed email support. Its merry go round getting nowhere. Please assist.

  • 8outof10blog 8/10 (@8outof10blog) reported from Barnet, England

@reece_dinsdale The other two are "Welcome to AOL: you're connected!" and "Goodbye...th-that's it." Damn I need to put these on my new laptop!

  • ahwpgapro Alan Walker (@ahwpgapro) reported from Loughton, England

@AOLSupportHelp We have been going around in circles and the reason I’ve tweeted my issue is I can’t get anywhere because we’ve done all the security Q’s and still 0 - I need to speak with a human being.....

  • NiamhGrimes4 Niamh Grimes (@NiamhGrimes4) reported from Goffs Oak, England

@AOL unable to sign into email for last week. No response from customer services. No one to talk to either😡😡Absolute joke. Important emails that I cannot access. AOL can you please get on to this. Beyond frustrating.

Lol Twitter really thinks muhfuckas gon wait for them ads to finish playing..I been skipped the whole tweet and lost interest..this **** disgusting..Twitter, ig, fb. Bring back AOL where they kept that **** on the homepage and dassit

  • BenRTerry Benjamin R. Terry (@BenRTerry) reported

I guess they are an evolution of the old (though still existing) AOL, MSN and Yahoo! style landing pages (local ISPs used to have 'em too). Those sites feel kinda... mass market, ad-driven, Network Nightly News-ish. These custom pages were a step up I think.

  • SportzFan69x #1 Sportz Fan (still fat) (@SportzFan69x) reported

@Cokedupoptions @AdamRy_n @TrungTPhan You also left me holding a metric **** ton of AOL 500 hours CDs. I still have a garbage bag full if you want to swing by and pick them up.

  • UncleJohn304 John Kearney (@UncleJohn304) reported

@du13ious I remember it was about 94 when dial-up internet seemed to get rolling. AOL install discs were everywhere. I remember my first login and was like "am I on the internet now? What do I do now? "

  • NerdyFlirtChel (nsfw) Chel (@NerdyFlirtChel) reported

@PRINC3SSAURA Yikes, **** that noise. If you need a new service, I tend to stick to NiteFlirt (lower cut, lower payout cap, etc. though the UI looks like it's from 90s AOL)

  • kthxsayonara 🌸TILLI🌸 @ FFXIV (ARR) (@kthxsayonara) reported from Saint Mary Hoo, England

AOL have deleted more than half of the saved emails in my inbox and now I’ve lost the email containing the serial codes for Eleanor Forte AI, Synth V Studio Pro and Natsuki Karin AI. I’ve managed to send an email to Anicute but AHS want a support number (was in a deleted email…)

  • RevoltaKotter John Revolta 🏴‍☠️ ☢️ (@RevoltaKotter) reported

SSRI's You suppose other more current things may full of similarly bad news that is finally acknowledged? I told you so on Pozac when AOL was new.

  • CaryBenbow Cary Benbow (@CaryBenbow) reported

@TheAtlantic This sounds like a version of: The US Postal service blocked delivery of AOL Cd-Roms… USA confused why the internet is not accessible

  • gatlingxyz Tavon (@gatlingxyz) reported from Huntington, Virginia

I'd known about #DnD but never played. Not even the geeks/nerds in my school played, as far as I know. And most of my schools have always been predominantly Black, so there was no representation. (I did do a lot of text based RPing on AOL tho)

  • amanda_mauriz Amanda (@amanda_mauriz) reported

Make fun of me all you want but I will never change my aol email account
