@BinnieGlen @alistaircoleman There is a walled garden service (Kwangmyong/ε…‰ζ˜Ž) available to NK citizens, like a slightly more creepy AOL. Proper internet is for foreigners & researchers only. Taking notes also stops people fiddling with phones in meetings, which is an execution offence in his view, and mine.

@HayleyWazEre Long story short, AOL and the largest business-to-business Internet Service Provider at the time (UUNET), were both headquartered here. Companies started laying a lot of fiber. This has been going on for 25 years here. They take a lot of water and power.

@dotkrueger You people are acting like the fanatics who occupied the last days of every bubble in history. I remember seeing the same lunatics saying AOL stock would rise to $1000 and beyond around 1999. "It's all different now stupid!" I know many of you are on margin. You'll not recover from this.

@kalsjdhflkjsa Who ******** knows the exact year they first went online? Dont you have brighter moments in your life to reminisce about. I remember script battling in AOL chat rooms, trying to connect for multi-player warcraft 1 games and failing, and dial up porn galleries taking forever to load a ****** picture. When'd you first go online since it was so pivotal in your life? Lol
