@BinnieGlen @alistaircoleman There is a walled garden service (Kwangmyong/光明) available to NK citizens, like a slightly more creepy AOL. Proper internet is for foreigners & researchers only. Taking notes also stops people fiddling with phones in meetings, which is an execution offence in his view, and mine.

@AltcoinDailyio Price trend doesn't matter in the short term as much as fundamentals. Google was undervalued compared to AOL and Yahoo in its time. Cardano is following the same path. Watch us and tear in dispair as we win and you get left behind. $ADA can even go lower and I'll never sell 💪

@kpeltola @lazygamereviews I met him back in my AOL days and correctly predicted that he would be cut loose during the annual December cost-cutting layoffs after he told me that he was working on an application to build a 3D map of the network.

@AnCaldazar It's stupid. The balance of power gets redressed later in the series to male and female power that is more or less equal. Hence, the AoL AesSedai symbol of balance. Rafe is just portraying the power dynamic in book 1. These losers should know this if that is their real complaint.

@RacingGlue @knowyourhorses @zed_run Paid racing (12 horses, 60% to 1st, 3 paid) was broken way before frees. It was just the ONLY option back then. You either paid or your horses set. It’s like saying broadband killed AOL. The only people who are pissed about that were those who held AOL stock.

@The_Elbinho @akash_meka Oh my god! That's perfect. Good jacket, evil jacket, who gives a ****. I'd read an entire series about Big D. Half AoL, half after the Release. Interludes of what he was dreaming during his time stuck inside the Bore.

Feels like we used to do a lot more loitering and prowling back in the 80s. Stupid AOL.
