@DebbieKennett @AOLSupportHelp They’re just locking people out of their accounts so they can force you to pay their monthly tech support fee. It’s extortion. Pure and simple.

@xpugHODL @HodlToonist My granpa was a miner too yaknow, but back then fossil fuels ran the cryptonurses, sputterin' sputterin' away, how's it -- where's the coal now, bucko? Not in some AOL coin, that's for damn sure!

  • jreichert 𝓙𝓪𝓷 🇩🇪🇫🇷🇪🇺 🌊🐳🏴‍☠️🐬🌊 💙🇺🇦💛 (@jreichert) reported

@quickbear @gr3yg00 Yes, that makes sense!! I remember that I mainly used internet at university (text only). Then I bought a modem, but it took a while for it to be useful. First there were BBS (bulletin board service: useless), later AOL, and again later real internet access.

  • forwardisfree mike_syposs (@forwardisfree) reported

@pattykazUSA AOL IM service only, it's getting a bit outdated

  • bab_billi Billi Bob 🇺🇦 (@bab_billi) reported

@coinbase @ljin18 When AOL & Dial Up got married, they named their child Coinbase. Market value declined from more than $250/share to $59. Coinbase is ridiculously slow, their fees are absolutely unreasonable, but somehow they blame everything else but their own failures

  • socialist_sheep Socialist Sheep (@socialist_sheep) reported

@tavanakyy_ir @AOLSupportHelp @AOL They started locking accounts so that people have to pay a monthly tech support fee to get it unlocked. It’s pure extortion.
