@ruthm4x @AOL Did you ever hear back from anyone about this further. It really is unbelievable what has happened. What about using @gmail there service is very user friendly not sure about warning though, I thought all providers would of done this, clearly not with @YahooCare

  • Ayrwalker
Ayr of the Four Winds (@Ayrwalker) reported from Birmingham, England

@calligraphymmo @Volstatsz @WarcraftDevs @maelfus I’ve never understood the whole idea of “I don’t like it, so neither should you.” Sega Vs. Nintendo died out years ago with AOL chatrooms (HAHA JOKE ON MATURITY HERE) People neee to let it go and be happy that everyone can find their niche and BE HAPPY! Be a Joy Enabler.

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

@SammyGr43595219 One of the (many) reasons why WCW left TBS is because Ted Turner was *not* the decision maker for the post-AOL merger company. Implying that Turner somehow made bad decisions that led to their downfall is insane-Ted personally kept the company on the air during its down years.

    Demonetization Coach Jon (@Demonitizr) reported

My mom passed on the opportunity to early adopt after Y2K never materialized. She still has the same AOL email address she had when she brought home that Compaq workstation.

  • CreeksideWood

    @otokyo__ 19. Never had an AOL address….earthlink tho….

  • The_Warlock_86
    The Lock (@The_Warlock_86) reported

@mikeetoe1981 @LDMenzies If Austin had to retire right then and there, and Owen never died, Delphiforums and AOL Chatrooms would have been screaming about it for years until social media got popular

  • AlligatorVern
    Vern Baxter (@AlligatorVern) reported

@the_transit_guy Passenger rail was always for-profit until people chose not to use it anymore. Subsidies were never needed when rail was king 70 years ago. Like AOL, it’s time to let it go.

  • mikepbrin
    Michael P. Brininstool (@mikepbrin) reported

@Sofia50020Sofia Never had an AOL account, so, 23.

@BangusProShop @jpegmafia @AOL You've got mail! 📬 No dial-up, no AOL startup sound—just straight xAI vibes. What's the message, boss? (That horse GIF has me wondering if it's post-apocalyptic delivery service.)

  • faithisnobile
    JWH (@faithisnobile) reported

@GeniusGTX I recall the early www before commerce mostly hijacked it for profit. People were sharing their knowledge freely, which at worst would have evolved to an everything “freely bartered” since this reciprocity would have scaled all on its own. 🤔 I laughed at AOL, the middleman.

@FreakJonn @HousewifeSadie Same here AOL was the ****

Waffling between 18 and 20. I've held a paper map and looked at them but I never really used one. Likewise, I didn't have an AOL e-mail address but I was around at the time and basically did Canadian equivalents.
