  @ruthm4x @AOL Did you ever hear back from anyone about this further. It really is unbelievable what has happened. What about using @gmail there service is very user friendly not sure about warning though, I thought all providers would of done this, clearly not with @YahooCare

  @calligraphymmo @Volstatsz @WarcraftDevs @maelfus I’ve never understood the whole idea of “I don’t like it, so neither should you.” Sega Vs. Nintendo died out years ago with AOL chatrooms (HAHA JOKE ON MATURITY HERE) People neee to let it go and be happy that everyone can find their niche and BE HAPPY! Be a Joy Enabler.

  @vivthesetter Always seems to happen to me Paul - I tried several times and was told they seem to have problems with AOL& email addresses, they were going to try and sort but I never heard further so gave up as too busy today

  Glad the internet & social media weren't an integral part of my tween/teen years. Wonder exactly how negatively (or positively?) it's impacted zoom*rs. The worst it did to me was that I thought I was dating a member of Blink 182 in an AOL chat room. He IMed me from the tour bus.

  AOL in 2000: If you want to use AIM on a third party program I don't give a ****. Embed AIM in Quake for all I care. Facebook in 2021: If you even think about sharing a tweet in my proprietary Messenger app I will make it look like the worst, most unusable thing you've ever seen.

  @CountSnarkula This is dated (no pun intended) Steve & I met in an AOL chatroom about 24 years ago. Chatted several months by phone regularly before actually going out on a first date. We took it slow, like a slow courtship. Nothing rushed as we lived about 60 miles from one another as well. 🤎

  AOL tried to stop Microsoft from setting up MSN Messenger to also send to AIM and a bunch of companies sued them! Like "**** you anyone should be able to message on your app"! There was an anti-trust suit and the OpenNet Coalition was founded. Where ******** is that energy now?

  My dad has an aol email that he still uses....I didn't even know aol is still up and running lmao I asked him why... He said if it ain't broke, don't fix it lmao
