Sabina Ahmed (@sabaone) reported from Taunton, EnglandWhat I don’t understand is I live in rural England, my broad band with @BT was abysmal, slow , problematic and hard to get customer service whereas when we had AOL for years we had no problem / good service and now @SkyUK since 2015, great speed / no problems. Same place!

Casey K 🇺🇸 (@KlepperCasey) reported@smallfeetpetss Netscape never had the IPO or following / business model that AOL did.. I owned AOL at the IPO. Sold it at $50. Will never forget it. OpenAi will “still be around” for a long time. That’s not my point. My point is its business model doesn’t work when the competition is so fierce. The ROI isn’t tenable I bet you it’s trading 1/2 of wherever it prices in it IPO a year afterwards

Zach Bolen (@ZachBolen4) reported@LordazureFGC @LOVETHEW0RLD My grandmother use to beat OG zelda and other nes/snes games and just stopped there. My mom went from being an Admin/mod for AOL and playing simcity and other sims to nothing now. It's kinda sad how they all just hit a wall and said nah **** that noise forever lol.

StockWorthy (@StockWorthyApp) reported@dividendology AOL/Time Warner has to be the worst merger of all time

Star Wars Timeline (Ben) 🇷🇺🇺🇸 (@SWT_Channel) reported@MarcFinkPart7 @KevinLamb74 Prequels were on everyone's lips, even casuals who aren't movie nerds at all. Everyone was involved. All the biggest fan site forums, AOL chat rooms, heck even Newgrounds site all debated about it. In big cities like NYC you'd never hear the end of pro/against conversations at comic shops, B&N book stores, libraries. I was finishing up HS going on to college in 2001 and everyone at my campus at Lehman College talked about it.

James from the internet (@Zeekertron) reported@DudespostingWs My mom was a customer service rep for AOL during the launch. They gave every one unlimited free dialup. My mom used it for free until the early 00s when highspeed was available. AFAIK I still had free and unlimited dial up access until AOL stopped offering it.
