@UrbanAstroNYC My family didn't use AOL as we used a different internet service provider. Also, encyclopedias are expensive. But I've done most of that list.

@iLibertyBelle 1 point because I somehow never had an AOL account. I could have covered the walls of my bedroom with all the AOL CDs that came in the mail.

@DevinCow 2. Never AOL, and never had an encyclopedia. A traveling salesman once tried to get my father to buy an encyclopedia with "So don't you care about your children's education?", and it was the only I know that time my much-missed father came close to violence.

@callmelongfell2 @x_xyzz2 that's creepy af, before 9/11 I remember a LOT of Middle Eastern men would try to chat via that weird version of AOL...I forgot what it was qr..something? I never respond to anything from strangers unless its business related anyways. lol

@TheWerestripper I never had a MySpace or AOL. I didn't have a computer in my home until 2007, and when I did finally get an email it was Yahoo. And by the time I started using social media I got on Facebook.
