Victor Meldrew moment! Ordered a new oven from @AOL for delivery today. Given a 7.00am until 7.00pm delivery slot. Rang now will not be delivered until next Sunday. Not informed of anything. Asked the service department about what they can do to correct it! Nothing. Cancelled.

@alecfisher01 @Xx_Boone_xX @MethodicalMemes Folks say that, but the Sony paid significantly more than MSFT. I don't think it was totally a reaction to MSFT's deal with ATVI, but folks have to remember that people are human and make bad decisions from time to time. AOL+TimeWarner happened.

@hmillerdev On AOL Instant Messenger and similar, there was an arms race between 'warez' providers of 'faders' (gradient colored text automatically) and 'punters' (would kick the recipient of the malformed string off AIM) and the service provider. I feel like the internet was better then.
