I actually worked as help desk level 1 tech support for AOL I don't even remember lol I believe it was America online First internet dial up I took phone calls walked people thru lost disrupted internet if you can believe that. Great money I was so young didn't know any

@SomaCovington Think my first ISP use brought a phone bill in around £390. Yeah, I had to change how I went online from that day on, thankfully it wasn't long before getting in on beta testing aol's 0800 service.

@billiamthies Can you cover the time that AOL added animated gif profile pictures (before we called them avatars) and the community went WILD with them? Some were minutes long! I honestly have trouble searching for it, also may have been paid DLC.
