    @GoodKnightSweet I would rather it never come back, frankly. Too much of people's personal lives rests on the servers owned by a marketing firm. I hope it ends up like its predecessor, AOL.

    @ke_kate @Baba_Lilith @chadloder But…there is? The general purpose wider internet? Like connecting with people within a hobby or activism/community group with AOL instant messenger, forums, and email back in 2002 was so much more relaxing and one didn’t have to worry that a robot was down-feeding one’s posts
