@borisluchas WCW lost like 100 million dollars in a year and AOL time Warner Merger brought in execs who didn’t want wrestling. The network doesn’t own AEW, and AEW is cheap compared to other programming, especially for live sports-like programming

Can someone at @TalkTalk tell me why my superfast Future Fibre runs at 0.5MB making it slower than AOL dial up? And why, despite several hours on the phone, after three months it still doesn't work! I won't hold my breath.

@medus4_cdc I do think there is significant potential to just look bad. I'd advise two things: Add some OBVIOUSLY retro elements like a Netscape or AOL logo. I'm not sure how to say it, but if you can do a tidy mess of Geocities. The awful retro elements, but actually laid out organized.

@Michael62721188 @Tweetermeyer @IwriteOK AOL wasn’t junk though so one can’t really compare AOL with Tesla. The problem with AOL was they did not adapt from dialup speeds.

Sometimes I mentally shut down and reboot like I’m logging into aol. Usually I’m cool in a month unless someone picks up the phone. #iykwim
