@SundaeRedux @AOL I have had AOL since it started, never had any problems with it unlike other email accounts. I am surprised that with all the emphasis on acceptance by younger people, they can be so insulting of others over trivial matters.

@about_dave @KellyScaletta @Acyn Section 11 all of them. They use AOL email addresses and they filed in the wrong state. Both say in their TOS that you have to file in CA. Also, they're working pro Bono, whether they know it or not. And he's the world's worst client running his mouth

@riocarmine I never had AOL but definitely used Messanger when it had a browser-based client. ICQ got big the year I went to college and that was all the rage in the dorms.. but I feel like it dropped out of favor very quickly after that.

@AnOpenComment My father had this one. It worked great for 2 years straight, but later started misbehaving. One fine day, it got switched off and never saw the light of the day ever again. Rest in peace, champ. You'll be missed. Such a nostalgia. AOL, don't buy it now, there're better phones.

@AOLSupportHelp You all need to get it together. Your zapping peoples passwords and forcing them to purchase your premium service. I waited for an hour to talk to someone and then the call got dropped.

@emilyc_moore I guess about 5,000. When I used to do a serial fiction column (never sign a contract with AOL) I had a terrible habit of waiting until the day of deadline and then pounding out an episode in a kind of fever. Idiotic way to work.
