You ever hear someone’s email address and realize you can never take them seriously? If your email address ends in aol . Com, I don’t want to hear what you have to say about anything

@reckless As a former TVSquad writer, I am disappointed it never occurred to me to start an industry-leading website and flagship podcast following *its* decimation by AOL. Good work, Nilay and @backlon, and cograts!

  • djlegacy LL Kewl Legz (@djlegacy) reported

i hate how everyone thanks mark zuckakowski for social media… never mind black planet or aol chat rooms

  • benoitc benoît chesneau (@benoitc) reported

i am really getting fed-up of this trend today to put everything in the hand of a cloud service. Let's call it a regression. This is not like aol or compuserve but very near that time where you would rent hours on a dc and pay them to keep your code online (literally).

@toni87230159 Maginn's twitter problem is way out of hand. I think we are witnessing a breakdown of the most extreme kind. Perhaps some friend can stage an intervention and take away his internet access (Predicted to connect via AOL and a 2400 baud modem)
