@Ask_Spectrum After 3 technician visits, 3 modems and countless hours of lost work time and sitting on hold why do I still not have any internet service in my home? I had faster service from AOL back in 1997.

@MRHSfan Oddly enough, one of my professional “claims to fame” is that I’ve never had an AOL account. I never needed the extra “hand holding” of AOL, CompuServe, and the like. Fun Fact: my moniker InDNile was created for the first BBS I logged into, circa 1990.

@coinbase @ljin18 When AOL & Dial Up got married, they named their child Coinbase. Market value declined from more than $250/share to $59. Coinbase is ridiculously slow, their fees are absolutely unreasonable, but somehow they blame everything else but their own failures

@snefzgerpr 1/2 If you're one of the lucky ones who can snag a gmail, yahoo, aol, mac, roadrunner, etc. address that starts with first.last or some variation, not so bad. Not so with most, though, who end up with Larry26549@ or the like. And although not guaranteed...
