@blackcoat They could be quite successful as that kind of company (AOL is still in business), but they'd have to admit they'd peaked and settle down to pay dividends and boring stuff like that.

  • iLiquidJay jay rex (@iLiquidJay) reported

@IhaveNoExitPlan @byKatherineRoss Ahem .. as someone who stopped using their apps. Perhaps let's take a stroll down memory tech lane In the 1990s, Bill Gates was asked which company kept him awake at night: AOL, Intel...What kept him awake at night, he proclaimed, was “two guys in a garage in the Silicon Valley.”

  • AndrewDHudson ADH (@AndrewDHudson) reported

@bcmerchant It’s like AOL trying to pivot while still soaking up dial-up fees from Boomers who never remembered to unsubscribe.

  • AmbriaSimone 🧞‍♀️ (@AmbriaSimone) reported

I'm giving Cardano the end of the year to get their **** going. Main network is online, why is Daedalus still slow af? Why does CNFT still look like a AOL start page? And why don't they have TVL!? 🙄

  • EricStrateX ericstrate.eth (@EricStrateX) reported

The Good and Bad with Facebook aka Meta. The Bad: It's Facebook still, and they will take the Meta Data to do what they do best (make money) off of you. The Good: It onboards millions of people into crypto (you know the wallet is coming, then dex, etc..) The AOL of Web3!

  • user_4517 user4517 (@user_4517) reported

@engineers_feed They want to justify the purchase of the VR Ocular product. Even with 5G there is not enough bandwidth to support their customer base. Facebook has become the old AOL and they know it.

  • timk1208 Timothy Kelley (@timk1208) reported

@AOLSupportHelp I have been an AOL customer for probably 2 decades . I'm looking to retrieve an e-mail I permanently deleted nearly 2 weeks ago from a company called xpressbet , is this possible ?

  • MJMichaelJames Michael James (@MJMichaelJames) reported from Vincent, California

Will someone make a meme please about people who are still mad that U2 conspired with Apple to give them free music that they didn’t like? You know? They setup their new computer and there’s like AOL or something on it and they ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Free U2 and they lose their ****?!
