@mtaibbi I am old enough to remember when AOL, Netscape, Yahoo and MySpace were the big things in tech. I am not saying Facebook, Twitter and Google will meet similar fates, but if they are hacking off enough of their customer base, I am also not saying they won’t.

@CourtofCrows @TheMattEaton That’s a little bit of revisionist history. By the time of the merger, WCW as a diminished product. It was a money loser & it was broken. Is that the fault of the NWO being buried into the ground? No but it didn’t help. If WCW was still hot, AOL would have wanted it.

@ArielStargaryen I also think of scene in AOL(I think Rand flashback in rhudien) when a man comes out and basically knocks down a person and then is rude to the person until he realizes he is an aiel....made me feel like the AOL people not any better than anyone else of current time
