@kc140605 I want to do this so bad but I’m afraid I’ll lose something valuable, but I know I’ll never check my 1.3k AOL emails (I am their last remaining member, yes)

Auntie and Uncle asked me to “fix” their iPad and computer. I think the problems are due to needing to update. We’re prompted to enter their Apple ID. They insist they don’t have an Apple ID. The only password they know is their AOL one. 😖

Watching a movie where the person logs onto AOL online and you hear dial-up is so wild. I remember that ****, the discs coming in the mail, and pirating anime episodes that took forever to download. 1 episode would take around 30 hours.

@Timcast I would laugh. I mean Twitter is bullshit. The internet itself, is bullshit and nothing more than a dumpster of time consumption for periods of boredom throughout a day. To take this crap to any level beyond the keyboard on your phone is ridiculous. Im old the web is Aol and fake

the problem with the internet today is you're just connected at all times and it's so impersonal i miss when the AOL guy would say 'welcome!' when you logged in and 'goodbye' when you signed off.
