    @CNBC Now the cult has to reinvite AOL in order to partake in hate filled conspiracy insurgency. Maybe start with buying out Friendster. The Oracle CEO can help.

  • secretschools secret schools (@secretschools) reported

    Did I deserve this punishment? Yeah, probably. I was being an *** and causing unnecessary suspicion and anxiety while also playing fast and loose with the truth. I took my suspension and never used AOL again (that is, until I used an alias and the home’s fax line to connect). (5)

    @Elacious Not real familiar with freetel, There was ICQ back in the day. There was also AOL chat. Kids today have it made with high-speed fiberoptics. You could fix a sandwich waiting on a site to download with 40–50 kbit/s. Halfway done and little sister picks up the phone. WTF!!! NOO lol

  • M_Rose_23 Mike Rose (@M_Rose_23) reported

    Is this going to drive the "unbundling" of social networks? Seems antithetical to the whole "network effect", but does this effectively turn into a bunch of AOL chat rooms? If so, what are the implications? Does it make the "echo-chamber" effect worse?

  • jordanliles Jordan Liles (@jordanliles) reported

    @alexkasprak If I wasn't relaxing I'd make a video of him logging into AOL and getting stuck at step 1 getting a busy signal on the dial-up phone number.

  • IHearTheShofar BiteBack (@IHearTheShofar) reported

    @johnrobb @ChristianJimmy What is the POINT of such an inane statement? TOS has been around forever, I've been on the internet since 1994. You think this stuff is bad, I was an AOL Guide, we shut people down for bad grammar! Get a grip.

  • tonylenzi Tony Lenzi (@tonylenzi) reported

    @mgsiegler AOL chain emails asking for funds to help build his social network

  • MDPKrogstad 2021 Wake Up! (@MDPKrogstad) reported

    @AOL He never said that.

  • fabulous_frank Frank Munguia (@fabulous_frank) reported

    @305miami6924 He tried tweeting from the official POTUS account and they immediately took those posts down. I think he'll be seen next chatting with the 3 people still left in the AOL chatrooms.

    As. I said before. @Twitter . Start changing. A $30.00, a month fee. That’ll . Eliminate. Nonsense. AOL. Did it. Those were the good. They had very little problems. They were strict. With . Terms/conditions.
