  • LTEstyles Miguel Enrique (@LTEstyles) reported from Lake Butler, Florida

I use to write a lot in my teens. I remember firing up Word 97 and typing down my thoughts and saving them all in floppy discs that I got free from AOL 💾 「1.44MB」. I'd just wipe them clean and save 😅. I wish I knew where those discs went. I need to get back into writing. 📝

  • CarrieMSNRN97 Carrie L Lewis (@CarrieMSNRN97) reported from Lake Butler, Florida

Should I switch from AOL to NetZero? Netscape is running really slow. ICQ me.

  • EmbersToAsh William H. (@EmbersToAsh) reported from South Apopka, Florida

I love Apple products and always will but I crack up when a new iOS comes out and they change like the size of the font in the draft folder of your aol email that dates 1995 and earlier and people lose their shit thinking it’s genius will.

  • genandjuiceeee demonican 🖤 (@genandjuiceeee) reported from Alafaya Woods, Florida

I just remembered when AOL was connecting and these weren’t turned down. I’d be deaf for 7 minutes

  • ChantaeDeveraux Chantae Deveraux (@ChantaeDeveraux) reported from Orlando, Florida

Still mad at AOL for putting t*ra picture on the home page and making me find out the terrible result early.

  • HowYouCanCrypto LP (@HowYouCanCrypto) reported

@BTCTKVR @C_M_B_B Oh I understand why bitcoin was created over 10 years ago. Now, in 2021 it's an outdated, slow, inefficient technology by any modern standard. There's literally 1000's of projects that are better blockchain. It will die like AOL and be replaced with a Google of blockchain.

  • andiBenet Andi Benet (@andiBenet) reported

Like, the damn letter song is stuck in my head. AND the “You got mail” AOL announcement.

  • wrightadam OakSyder (@wrightadam) reported

@GopiSubbaraj @CaseyNewton @mickbirch Nice one! And it looks as if he's trying to relaunch it. Bebo. An amazing exit in such a short lifespan, done by brilliant people. I was at AOL at the time, and watching them **** Bebo up was mind numbingly stupid.

  • Mandalo32261153 Mandalorian (@Mandalo32261153) reported

@_Amar_N your company Myntra sucks. Your personnels are AOL when customers need them, when we complain they mischaracterize them, when asked to delete our account, they take one week or more to do it. Why so much time to delete the account? Crickets.

  • 1ChrisFletcher Chris Fletcher (@1ChrisFletcher) reported

@NikkiWalsh123 I believe the first wave of supporting materials is due in April, focusing on 3 AoL with examples of good practice, worked planning etc. The remaining 4 AoL should follow in May or June. Lots of support coming for these changes. Exciting times!

  • SeanDaleyCA Sean Daley (@SeanDaleyCA) reported

@ggreschler @AliMCollins Two of her lawyers have @aol email addresses High powered help

  • ChronicalyCarly Carly 😷 (@ChronicalyCarly) reported

@ZainR @PTA_Stirlingite But I feel like there's more damage that can be done in a private window & downloading bad ****. I didn't even know how to download music or movies until like college. I was sheltered but bloomed early. I had run ins with perves on aol instant messager but not nearly as scary!

  • WatcherLegion 𝕷𝖊𝖌𝖎𝖔𝖓 (@WatcherLegion) reported

A couple of decades ago when IRC was the mainstream chat for most people online or rooms like Compuserve, AOL, Netcom, and others, there was always drama and always silly "wars" just like we see on social media today. There was a lot of bad stuff but it was easier to stop it.

  • ColHapablap Col. Leslie "Hap" Hapablap (@ColHapablap) reported

@theshyduck God help you if you accidentally made your AOL number one of those
