Waiting for help, I noticed the email came from an individual at aol dot com, not a donotreply. I realized I *had* clicked there. So I went to the main site and changed my password, which hadn't been possible on the click-through site. I had to enter my password there. 3/

@RonnyJacksonTX So, when did you first try email? Let me guess, AOL. Don't assume bad behavior, ask your IT team to clean up your settings. It is always good practice to scan your SPAM folder, to make certain that it is only catching actual spam. Happens to many sites that do bulk email.

Random thought: am I the only person to have never used AOL? My ISP was MSN back in the day because of WebTV. Later when I did get a PC, MSN was still my provider because of WebTV & PC ISP bundle deal.

@_BrianArndt They weren’t intrinsically worthless, they generated real revenues by providing a useful service to people allowing them to access the internet… AOL sold for $4.4 billion in 2015
