@3NolesFan3 You should be able to do it from the game itself if you're connected to the internet (let me know if you need any help with your AOL disc). Go to OS and find a username with a reputable set and download.

@DeekeTweak Metaverse is definitely a huge risk and probably mismanaged at the moment, though I think this will improve. The pivot is scary for them, sure, but what's the alternative? They don't have a great m&a culture, and dying a slow death like Yahoo or AOL isn't appealing to MZ.

@stefanoschen I view every large layoff through the AOL experience - both in being laid off and in not being laid off and watching people around you be let go. Rounds of cuts seem worse for a company than a single awful chop.

@TheSpoonyOne I broke down crying when I had to remove the name of a dead friend off AOL Instant Messenger way back in 2000. I held together until I got the prompt "Are you sure you want to remove *NAME*?" I broke down crying saying. "I don't want to...but I have to."

"vena, why was it there" because for several years, they literally never used the media player we had it all stashed in. they thought we were still using the parentally-controlled AOL browser instead of just using something else and constantly wiping the internet history.
