@3NolesFan3 You should be able to do it from the game itself if you're connected to the internet (let me know if you need any help with your AOL disc). Go to OS and find a username with a reputable set and download.

I used to get chain emails on AOL when I was 9 saying “forward this email or bad luck for 2 years!!” Now I’m seeing IG stories “add your picture or back luck for two years!” We’ve really gone full circle. Lmao

@amaditalks (I am also, however, namesquatting an empty bexone on literally every service that doesn’t require a full wallet name or server nonsense like the fluffy elephant, because **** if I’m letting anyone have the username that’s been mine since AOL Instant Messenger)

I feel like this is prime time for someone to just revive or reinvent MySpace or AOL chatrooms/AIM because as a nostalgic millennial, I want to seek familiarity, but I also still want to talk about random crap with strangers like on Twitter

@SGBarbour ...then, hopefully, they will fall down the rabbit hole. You could liken it to people using AOL for email.

I use to love that movie The Net but I really doubt it holds up. I haven’t seen since back when it was new and I was really into online stuff and hacker software (that never worked) and using AOHell (not AOL) to phish and get fake accounts. I bet the movie is dumb now

@oneunderscore__ All of a sudden an AOL chat room sounds welcoming. It would be a respite from the current controversial issues and the inordinate amount of hate that is now on social media. And, don’t forget AOL gives you a free disc

@TheDailyCowman No one shed a tear when aol shut down, nor did they give a crap when myspace died
-
Erin Wert (@erinwert) reported
@ashleylynch @laynemorgan But that’s what I’m saying, it’s not… it’s not a service or platform in itself. By focusing on the protocol itself it’s missing what’s actually missing… no one said email won’t work because it’s too decentralized. They talked about why gmail is better than aol or outlook.

@KennethTuran @JamesStewartNYT I'm just glad that we never had to call it the AOL Time Warner center.
