I had this issue of Game Players as a kid, but I don't think we had AOL yet. So I'm 99% positive this was the first of many, many, MANY times I'd encounter this sentiment over the years. :V

@Klonick @meyerweb Filled 1 today. There are so many good reasons. "The future's here, it's just not evenly distributed." Overwhelmed clerks in understaffed offices, state regs 3 decades out of date require 'wet ink' sigs, users on iPhone12s and others on Win7 with AOL accounts. So many issues.

@MollyMcPherson @jenlmcginley16 AOL IM was the only way I could contact my parents during 9/11, as the phone lines were down. That was our "social media" then.
