@Gunntwitt @Derick_Fabert My parents house had a hardwired rotary phone with a 25 ft cord. We didn't get a cordless phone until AFTER my dad installed @AOL just so he could disconnect the dial up service from the bedroom if he thought we'd been on to long. Oh the joys of 7.7k/s

@KidDiabeetus I don't think I would have learned to be as rhetorically minded if I hadn't been in the debates/prolly more so flame wars I had but I grew up with aol. zoomers will collectively experience ego death, enact global meme language, but real **** might be real unhealthy

@AOLSupportHelp SUCK SUCK SUCK. I have a huge aol mail problem and no one has helped me. I want to TALK to someone. All I get are useless links all telling me the same thing. Frustrated, distressed and angry.

@spearshistor1an Nah because they didn’t send it to radio! She had to beg Jive to make the video & paid for/directed it herself. They barely even played it on MTV/VH1 I’ll never forget watching it on AOL music for the first time & being blown away by how amazing she looked

@AOLSupportHelp Why is email auto translating, how do i stop this please? On 17/4/21 other person complained of same, was told would be fixed, but still not fixed. This makes AOL non usable for me. Please help. Thankyou in advance

suddenly remembering the time when i was 13 and chewed out a friend’s ex boyfriend over AOL messenger. i sent him this whole long paragraph about what a horrible person he was. this is the most 2008 story i can think of
