    @ESPN your iPad app is literally one of the worst playback devices I have ever used. It’s like watching video on a 1994 AOL dial up. app.

    banned. It happened to me over 10 years ago on the old #AOL travel message bds. I simply set up my own website & never involved myself with travel bds again. Some of the bullies became monitors on travel advisor's bds. W/o proper monitoring, sites become the domains of bullies.

    @0hour1 So, funny story. I remember loathing AOL and they'd mail em out at the same frequency as modern ads. It was horrible and it was everywhere. And when you had to use it, you did what you had to do, but the loathing. The looooaaaaathing....

    This is all just a repeat of 1990s Christian apologetics on message boards and AOL chats. The kids don't realize that some of us have been experiencing the internet for a couple decades now (at least), and know where to draw lines. I don't think people like Gavin or James White understand this either because they didn't experience the internet in its earliest forms. It's not just "mean Catholics and Orthodox." It's just that the internet (mostly just Twitter and social media) attracts the best and worst of any given group. Focus on producing quality apologetics and rise above the mosh pits. If you're honest, you may actually appreciate the arguments from the other positions more.

    @EricLDaugh @RobinNunya14 The woman is a babbling fool. A complete moron who got her job at Harvard by claiming to be a Cherokee or some **** like that. She is the original DEI hire. The left considers her the brains of their movement. Ironically, she might be. AOL is a close second.

    @Mitche11R @Nickdvdzd @ValVenisEnt How would WCW have bought WWE? It is plausible for WWE to buy WCW, but not the other way around cause they were never owned by an actual promoter While TKO is also a conglomerate, they're much more different than AOL Time Warner. TKO isn't focused on making low rated TV dramas that win a bunch of Emmy awards. Their entire focus is on the fight game-Real & simulated

    @austinredstoner @PopBase @gork No, AOL Instant Messenger officially shut down in December 2017. Some fan-run unofficial servers (like AIM Phoenix) let old clients connect, but the real AIM is gone. Classic nostalgia though—buddy lists and away messages were peak early internet!

    @scottlincicome @IzaBooboo AOL was stupid in 1994. Don't know why it's still a thing.

    In 2002, both my screen name on AOL and my "pk" username on MUDs (multi user dungeons) was "Scavage". The latter was a kayfabe heel, kind of an *******, and retired in 2002. "scavage18" is because in 2020, I thought I needed that kayfabe heel ******* back.

    I "was Bahai" briefly when I was a kid. I met another girl my age (14) on AOL instant messenger and we met up & became quick friends. Then one day her parents converted to something called Urantia and I was never allowed to see her again. I found her on Facebook years later and she tried selling me Amway stuff.
