  @0hour1 I had Compuserve, remember that one? Newsgroups and ****. AOL, Compuserve, and Prodigy were groundbreaking back in the day. Microsoft Encarta, Dune, Alone In The Dark, Police Squad, Leisure Suit Larry, etc on my Gateway 2000 50 megahertz

  @0x686967 I always watched him do it and he made me some AOL “proggies” to boot people and **** and wanted to do it so badly but he wouldn’t tell me what language it was or which IDE he was using. What a **** lol.

  @BexWords @RedKingRuairi75 They’re everywhere. Were you on AOL back in the day? Bunch of lower middle to working class or poor married men hitting on minors. The class and education-based skew is uncomfortable to parse without sounding like an *******.

  I remember being harassed, intensely and regularly, for instigating my class action against AOL. Claiming I did it for "E-Fame" or money. No I did it for one reason and one reason only. They pissed me off. I knew from before I was a KO that they were breaking multiple labor laws. My FIL was a lawyer and explained it to me but I made a decision to stay in the illegal position because I knew community online would become the world of the future and I wanted my part in it. Then they collectively **** upon a ton of folks, some of who were in extremely bad health, others terminal. And that pissed me tf off. They got rich off of people who could barely provide for themselves and then they cast them aside. I never thought I would end up changing internet employment policies for so many companies. Or that I would be classified as a labor activist. Strange trip folks #FTR

  My handle....although you all know me as Bitchiest thats not my actual handle. And before anyone asks, no I did not coin myself. Others did lol I started on AOL in the scouting section as BellevueNY cuz I used to answer my home phone saying they had reached the nurses desk at that hospital. When I became a KO, kids only host for those under 30, I was morphed into KO Belle and the kids loved me. No shock there, I ran a huge cub scout pack and was involved in district events and training including training other leaders. I got close with the system Guides who would work in KO because I was really good at hosting and would help them..... Then, shocking, I got fired. The guides, especially Seesa, were upset and got me on board as a Guide but it meant I had to abandon Belle. Seesa and the other guides dubbed me Brat. Mainly because well I literally personified that identity. I was mouthy, playful af, loved teasing, but would normally eventually submit to what I had to do. Acting out the entire way lol It wasn't until further along in my guide life that I found out what a Brat was. A specific submissive in D/s circles which most of the guide program were heavily familiar with. At a guide bash I won the award "Most like prefered name" ...my preferred name was BellzaBrat And I was. Brat! #FTR

  @brockpierson I remember working at the OKC AOL facility. I believe everyone used it back then. ICQ wasn't a favorite of mine. Speaking of AOL, like this comment, if you ever received 2 FREE MONTHS of service while trying to cancel. (Giving free service was my specialty).
