Give it up #NFLNetwork - awful broadcast. Commentators 👎 and the same 4 commercials in each break. For those savvy people, they blocked the ability to direct the sound to the HonePod. Short sightedness is what ended Blockbuster and AOL. Time to put the viewers first #nfl

Remember when AOL was sued because email server was down? Shouldn't that also be similar to FB and Twitter as people do business and obtain salaries from these, too?

@HappyBuddha19 @eshaLegal We were just trying to socialize and create intellectual value for us and our peers, not do homework for the lazy sobs every other ISP threw into the mix after AOL led the way. People just said **** on Usenet at that point not for topicality, but solely for audience reach.

@ATX_fight_club @28delayslater If Tesla buys anything the stock will crash. It is just like AOL. The market didn't want to admit that AOL was in trouble, but AOL knew. Once it bought something, the market became aware.

@Meidas_Samantha I was using the social media of the time around 1980. Usenet news. Back then the Internet was created by geeks for geeks. Using it was, in itself, an intelligence test which kept the level of debate up. Then the suits found it and AOL made it easy and the tone went way down.

@rev_entertain nope. You cannot do **** to private enterprises. Almost. What will happen is an Open Source platform(s) that ppl with reasonable amount of $$$ can deploy within hours. Literally. And it will kill Twitter ad Facebook. Just like Yahoo and AOL got killed.

If you have even basic knowledge of the history of "The Internet" - like quite literally why it was built and what problems were being solved through a packet-switched network - this is even funnier. He got kicked off the equivalent of AOL. Nobody banned him from TCP/IP for life.
